Traditional alarm clocks usually wake you up at an unnatural point in your sleep cycle - a continuous cycle from deep sleep, to brief almost-awake moments. Occasionally, your alarm may catch you at an optimal, almost-awake moment and you wake up feeling refreshed, but usually you grope for the snooze button waking up tired and groggy.
By setting your SLEEPTRACKER watch with a window of time prior to your desired wake up time the watch monitors your sleep cycle and wakes you before your desired wake up time at a natural point in your sleep cycle where you are almost awake anyway allowing you to wake up refreshed, alert, and energetic!
In addition to the alarm capabilities you can record your sleep patterns downloadand analyze them using the included USB interface thus helping you see what your sleep patterns look like and verifying to you how the watch works!

"Surprisingly, these products work really well. They deliver on their promises and really do help you relax and sleep better - two things that can definitely improve your life. Waking up at the right time is an amazing thing. It's hard to believe how much difference it makes. I was skeptical at first, but I recommend both products highly. Do check them out."

An example of how you can use it
Let say you need to be up at 6:30am for an 8:00am meeting. On your traditional alarm clock you would set a wake up time of 6:30am and no matter where you are in your sleep cycle the alarm clock will wake you up at 6:30am even if you are in a deep sleep.
With a SLEEPTRACKER watch you would set your hard wakeup time at 6:30am, and then let’s say if you woke up any time after 6:00am that would be okay so you set your wake up window to be anytime between 6:00am to 6:30am. Then while you sleep the watch monitors your sleep cycle and then when it sees that you are almost awake at 6:05 it wakes you up, and because you were almost awake anyway you wake up feeling refreshed, alert, and energized; however, if you had continued to sleep and woke up at 6:30am you would be back into your next sleep cycle and may have awoken groggy, fuzzy, and tired.
You awoke earlier and you feel better all day even if you are travelling and suffering from jet lag!
